President Jim called the meeting to order.
Mason gave the invocation. Howard led us in the pledge. Guests present included
Pam Blosser. Members present were Peggy, Jim, Howard, Joan, Miriam, Connie, and
Mason.
Program
Pam Blosser of the School of Metaphysics, talked to us
about “Being Positive in a Pessimistic World.” The school teaches positive
thinking. Use every experience to the fullest. 1 When you catch yourself in a
negative or limiting thought- STOP. 2 Forgive the other person. Forgive
yourself. 3 Look for good.
Announcements
• We received a letter of
thanks from Mara, Stephen and Lisa Dolan. Mara is our essay winner.
•
Schnucks is hosting the 20th annual Valentine Party for couples married more
than 50 years.
• Children Challenge nominations are due March 9th. The
awards will be March 19th.
